Hydraulic power pack

IHC uses a standard design power pack to operate all of their handling equipment. Power packs are equipped with multi voltage motors, 5,5kW or 22kW, driving the hydraulic pump which supplies 9 – 23 l/min against a maximum pressure of 350bar or 700bar.

Power pack can be combined with all standard hydraulically operated IHC hose reels in which case it can be handled as one lifting package. During most offshore projects the power pack based on the installation barge\vessel and hydraulic hoses run over board.

Simplicity of the IHC power packs makes them easy operate-able with a wide range of applications.

 

 

Accumulator packages

Use of hydraulic power packs is limited to water depths of approximately 250 – 300m. However, as offshore projects move into ever deeper waters the demand for sub sea hydraulic power gets bigger.

IHC designs standard and custom made accumulator packages which can be operated sub sea in water depths up to 3000m. Control and operation is done with the help of a ROV which has the disposal of several operational options.
