levelling Equipment

IHC Levelling Tools are used to level templates, manifolds and jackets. IHC Handling Systems produces tools for use on subsea projects as well as surface projects.

Subsea:

  • 200-400 Tonnes
This tool has to be positioned on top of the driven pile. A large guide cone simplifies stabbing on to the pile. A single hydraulic cylinder equipped with a gripper head is extended and grips on to the pile catcher, the gripper head system is in accordance with the well proven fail safe system which is also used in our ILT's. A single cylinder stroke is 1800mm.
  • 3000 Tonnes
This newly designed tool has given sub sea levelling operations new possibilities. With it's maximum pulling capacity of 3000t it is ready to work with the new standard big jackets. It can be operated in water depth of 200m, regardless of pile stick up length.

Surface:

  • 400 Tonnes
This tool is designed for small size jackets and templates. The tool acts between the top of the driven pile (has been partially stabbed into the pile) and the main lifting pad eyes on the jacket. A single cylinder stroke is 610mm.
