Pin Release Mechanisms

Handling complex structures at extreme depths or heights can be a problem which installation contractors are facing from time to time. Alongside their extensive range of hydraulic release shackles IHC Handling Systems also offers custom made pin release mechanisms.
Pin release systems are mostly integrated in specially made spreader frames. These spreader frames are specially made for handling extreme structures such as; subsea manfiolds, suction piles, etcetera.

Most pin release mechanisms are operated by ROV through a ROV control panel. Hydraulic energy is attached to the spreader frame through a combination of hydraulic accumulators or supplied by the ROV's power pack, allowing to operate up to water depth's of 3000m.
